INCITEGov is a policy research and advocacy center providing support to democratic movements and spearheading democratic reform coalitions and initiatives. It was founded in August 2005 as a membership-based, non-profit organization.


INCITEGov applies the P-G-D lens in its analysis of key national issues, seeking to probe and underscore the links between Democratic Politics, Good Governance, and the achievement of targeted Development Outcomes.

Stop the Killings PH is a call to action to #StopTheKillings and #StartTheHealing. INCITEGov and DAKILA, together with various organizations and individuals, worked to build an online platform to commemorate, memorialize and humanize the victims and the narratives around the Duterte regime's “war on drugs.” It is both a call to action and an advocacy platform open to the broad spectrum of advocates, activists, development workers, artists, and writers calling to end the bloody policy.

The 2022 national election is an auspicious time to engage the broad sections of Philippine society in an active dialogue about democracy.

 

Can this be done when people are burdened with the daily struggle of surviving this pandemic? Can this happen amid the tight constraints on mobility that limit social interaction? Can this propel the people to be politically involved given the threat and intimidation experienced by those who oppose the current administration?

 

Under these extraordinary circumstances, INCITEGov proceeded to develop and pilot-test modules for facilitating conversations on democracy.
